The latest Consumer Confidence Report for Starkville’s drinking water system reinforces Starkville Utilities’ commitment to high standards for quality, safety and reliability.
“We’re regulated by the Mississippi Department of Health and must comply with rigorous sampling, monitoring and quality-control processes,” said Sean Johnston, chief water operator. “Our customers can have peace of mind knowing that we are responsible stewards of Starkville’s drinking water.”

Last year, Starkville Utilities employees processed and delivered more than 1.9 billion gallons of safe drinking water. The utility also launched the FutureNOW initiative to upgrade and modernize Starkville’s infrastructure, including its water supply system, to support the city’s continued growth.
