On our SmartHub customer portal, customers can pay with e-checks or enroll in AutoPay, a checking or savings account draft. There are no transaction fees for e-checks or AutoPay. Download our app to pay bills or access your account on your mobile device. Payments are immediately posted to your account, which helps you meet your payment due dates and avoid late fees.

This option is great for customers who are comfortable having utility payments automatically debited from their bank accounts. Starkville Utilities accepts ACH bank drafts. Just complete the form below to get started.

Customers can make a one-time payment using a credit or debit card at our new PayNow site. There is a $3 transaction fee with a maximum transaction of $500.
PayNowCustomers can check account status, make a payment and more by calling our 24/7 automated phone system at 662-323-3133, and selection option 1.
We want to make it as easy and convenient as possible for our customers to do business with us. Our office is located at 200 N. Lafayette Street. Lobby hours are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and drive-through hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. A payment kiosk is located in our lobby for cash, debit and credit card payments. Credit and debit card payments are charged a $3 transaction fee.
For your convenience, a drop box is available for after-hours check and money order payments. The drop box is located next to our drive-through window at 200 N. Lafayette Street. Payments placed in the drop box after 8 a.m. are processed the next business day.

On a tight budget and wish your bills would be more consistent throughout the year? Levelized Billing takes an average of your past 12 months’ consumption and allows you to pay that amount. For a more detailed description of the program, and to enroll, contact Starkville Utilities. (Levelized Billing is available only for customers who have at least 12 months of prior service history.)
Customers who sign up for Bank Draft can take advantage of our Pick-A-Due Date program and choose when they receive their bills. Customers may choose from the following due dates – 1st, 3rd or 15th - to help with personal budgeting. Contact Starkville Utilities for more information.
