Free EnergyRight Workshops Can Help You Save Money Year-Round

Simple, low-cost tips are effective during hot and cold weather

Preparing your home with energy-efficient tips can save you money during hot or cold weather. That’s why Starkville Utilities is presenting free EnergyRight workshops that focus on simple, low-cost strategies to manage heating and cooling expenses.

“Our energy workshops have been very well received throughout the community, and we’ve been adding dates so more people can attend,” said General Manager Edward Kemp.

“Participants have learned that they can make a noticeable impact on heating and cooling bills by using do-it-yourself tips to increase efficiency.

“Helping customers get the most out of their utility services is a top priority for us,” Kemp said, “and saving money on bills is part of that mission.”
